Method

The calculator starts from a standard drinks-per-guest-per-hour assumption, then adjusts for the share of guests drinking, event length, drink mix and toast. Bottle yields are transparent starter assumptions: 24 beers per case, 5 glasses per wine bottle, about 17 drinks per spirit bottle and 1 champagne bottle per 8 guests for a toast. Confirm quantities with the venue or bar service.
